Dock Ellis dead at 63

Former Major League Baseball Pitcher, Dock Ellis died Friday in California of a liver ailment. He was 63. He had a flamboyant style and could be very controversial at times. He played 12 years mostly with the Pittsburgh Pirates. He also played for the New York Yankees, New York Mets, Oakland A's and the Texas Rangers. In his autobiography, he claims to have thrown a no-hitter back in 1970 under the influence of LSD. 1945-2008
